Day is a digital sculpture shaped by 24 hours of real-time data collected from thousands of sensors throughout the building. Inspired by the intricate nature of the smart building system—functioning much like a living organism that senses and responds to internal and external changes—our team designed dynamic, organic structures that shift in form based on fluctuations in power, air, water, and occupancy.

Each hour, a new ring emerges, reflecting the latest sensor data, with each data source influencing distinct elements of the ring’s shape. Over 24 hours, these rings come together to create a complete visual representation of a day in the life of the building.
